THE HOLY BIBLE |
|
|
If you are not a believer in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, this webpage is where will find the first step to becoming a Christian. I see this life as our opportunity to go to "school" and our death as "graduation day". All of us will die, but not all of us will get the required knowledge to excel after graduation. What I am trying to say is that if we ignore God's existence and His guidance provided to us in the Holy Bible, then we die without hope of more than just those worldly treasures we acquired during our lives. As I pursued owning worldly things and turned away from my Christian roots, I failed to realize that these things did not, in fact could not, make me happy. Happiness must come from within us and not from some thing we may possess, some person with whom we are committed, for a time. Trying to harvest earthly rewards only leads to harvesting death eternal. Look at this verse: Gal 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption
[death]; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life
everlasting. KJV Matt 7:13-14 "... and few there be that find it." Rom 6:22-23 SALVATION; HOW TO HAVE "life everlasting": John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way , the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. KJV If you have not accepted Jesus as your personal Savior, I urge you to ask Jesus to come into your life today at this very minute. Tell Him that you are sorry for all of your sins and that you are going to try and live your life as He wants you live it ........ which is as Christ-like (Christian) as you can. Please know that when you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, all (that is each and every one) of your sins are forgiven. You are "washed" clean by the blood Jesus shed on the cross where He was crucified, and you are a "new" creature. Just as Jesus conquered death, rose from that grave, and lives eternally, so shall you live. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his
only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him [Jesus]
should not perish, but have everlasting life.
KJV You only need to have faith and believe He died for you. No, you will not be perfect in your life after accepting Him as your Savior, but if try your best to follow Christ's example of a sin-free life and read your Bible to learn what He would have you do, He will count it as good enough. You must be sincere; you cannot lie to Him because He knows your mind and your thoughts. When you fail and sin (as all humans do) ask for His forgiveness and tell Him that you repent of your sinning ways. This is required for your salvation. On the following webpage, titled "Repentance", read more about what this means. If you have questions, email me at the "j_b" address which you will find at bottom of every page on this website. Or, should you not wish to reveal your email address by contacting me privately, please use the public Forum here to present your questions or concerns and I will try as best I can to solve the problem. May God bless each of us as we search for life in an acceptable manner to God through His Son, Jesus Christ. Rom 10:9-13 j_b@holyscriptures.com |
