Some brief comments to fellow believers in Jesus Christ:

Are you having questions that need answers in your walk with God?  Here is what the Bible says about that:

Matthew 7:7-8, 12  [Jesus is speaking to His disciples]

7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek , and ye shall find ; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

8
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
...

12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
KJV

Do you question the reality of the Bible?  It is written:

2 Timothy 3:16-17

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness :

17 That the man of God may be perfect [mature], throughly furnished unto all good works.
KJV

Christ Jesus is our individual Savior; He did not die and resurrect to "save" members of a certain group but rather to save all who would believe upon Him:

John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him [Jesus] should not perish, but have everlasting life. KJV

The Bible clearly states that a church, denomination, congregation, preacher, or pastor  cannot "save" any person on this Earth.  Jesus provides the only path to acquiring life eternal with God:

John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. KJV

Here are some basic points of life as Christians:

1.  The Bible is more than a book to record marriages, births, and deaths.  We are to read it and pursue understanding of the knowledge we gain there.  We are exhorted in the book of Acts to do as the Berean's:

"... they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so."  (Acts 17:11, KJV)

2.  Paul tells us again, as believers in Christ, what to do with our Bibles in Timothy:

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Tim 2:15, KJV)

3.  And, to keep us on track, this same great author instructs:

"12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak ... comparing spiritual things with spiritual." (1 Cor 2, KJV)
.

4.  Paul informs us that God's "church" is not made by human hands:

"16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are." (1 Cor 3, KJV)

This fact  is more clearly stated in Acts 17:24:

"God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;" (KJV)

5.  We cannot obtain salvation through our attendance record to some building.  Nor can we obtain salvation through our goods works or by following the Ten Commandments.

Only Jesus the Christ can save us:

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved. (Rom 10:13 quoted from Joel 2:32, KJV)

Read it in Jesus' own words:

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6, KJV)

Do you obey Jesus or church traditions?

Does Jesus cast you out or condemn you to hell when you sin?  Not if you repent!  Why, then, would you believe that it's okay with God for some "church" to excommunicate, "shun", or forbid your participating with them?

When He was asked why He did not obey the traditions of the church elders, Jesus  gave us His condemnation of church traditions.  It is written here:

Mark 7:6-7

6 He [Jesus] answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

7
Howbeit in vain [emptiness] do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. KJV

Obey what God instructs us to do in the Holy Bible, not what man says  ....... unless he or she aligns with God's written Word.
