How far is it to Heaven?

Christians celebrate the annual remembrance of Jesus resurrection (Passover), I feel that it is only proper to comment concerning just where Jesus went on His return to "be with the Father" as written here:

Acts 1:1-11
1:1 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,
2 Until the day in which he was taken up,
...
9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. KJV
...........................

So, this tells us about Christ's going to Heaven.

How about when the two witnesses are killed just prior to Christ's return at the 7th Trumpet? They also "go to Heaven" in the sight of mankind:

Rev 11:3-12

3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
...
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast [Satan, THE Anti-Christ is this beast: Rev 13:11-18, 2 Thes 2:3,4] that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
...
11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud ; and their enemies beheld them. KJV
............................

In each of these two examples, those going to Heaven are taken in a "cloud". Is there another example of this? You bet. When the prophet Elijah was taken to Heaven as written here:

2 Kings 2:11-12

11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
12 And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces. KJV
............................

Okay .......... So what's my point?

Well, we are told where Heaven is located and how far it is in these verses:

2 Kings 6:15-17

15 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?

16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

17 And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. KJV
............................

So, how far is Heaven? It encompasses us everywhere. We just cannot see it while we occupy these flesh bodies without God's specific intervention.
